My sister has 3 girls and I always get them “make up” or a purse if I want to get back at her for something. Now I have a new baby girl and I knwo that karma (or my sister) is going to get me back!

Toys with tiny pieces are the Devil. I cannot number the times I have stepped on a LEGO, Polly Pocket, Barbie shoe, or some such thing and nearly killed myself.

My husband once suggested that we buy a 5000 piece Lincoln Log set for the kids for Christmas. My response was, “What did I ever do to you?”

Reading this reminds me of so many bad gifts — the balloons especially. I can’t think of a single balloon gift with a happy ending. I think that the worst gift our children ever received was a fish (sorry Grandma). Please, please, please never give anything that is living to my children. They will love it for a day and then Kacy and I will be stuck with caring for it until it decides to commit suicide while I’m cleaning out its tank. Thank you fish.

If you want to give a gift that will be appreciated. Take the kids to the park, or chucky cheese. That’s a gift for mom and the kids.

Right on Sisiter!!! We finally had to ask my bro-in-law to stop sending us loud noisy gifts at christmas. Noise makers times 7, eek!
