I have to apologize for not putting up a guest post last week. We moved, had no Internet, started new jobs and our 11 month-old baby had surgery.

After having a cyst removed from near his right eye, my 11 month-old son looked like this…
we got some pretty funny looks from people when we went out in public. People try to be discrete when looking at a baby with a swollen black eye, but usually it doesn’t work out very well. One lady in Bath and Body Works finally got up the nerve to ask “What happened?” after I broke the ice by saying, “He looks pretty pathetic doesn’t he?”. All is well now, and thankfully he was happy through the whole experience!
