Hey, we spent last weekend in So. Ca. as well. It was so beautiful and sunny, it was hard to come home. Your pictures are beautiful. So sorry that you were sick, but glad that everyone had a great time.

I heart SoCal. Very much so. We live in northern Canada and took a journey to LA area this summer. I wish myself there many times as I stare at the snow blowing against our home.

What a great week for you. Glad you flew. We just visited Ca for a week by car. All 7 of us. It’s no longer ‘fun’ to do it that way.
Call me crazy but I think somewhere out there is a recipe for pomegranate salsa that has avocado in it. Weird, but good.

Sounds like it was the perfect trip for you! I was also glad to see you standing upright in those pictures. I heard horror stories (via. cousins) about the snow in Colorado. Glad you missed it!

I would be slightly devastated to miss Disneyland, but at least you weren’t stuck in a hotel–you had beaches and family and pomegranates to keep you company. Sweet healing.

Yeah, I love it here. I pay for the weather, but when other’s are shoveling their walks, I’m walking around in short-sleeve shirts and shorts. Although I must say some years it would be nice to have seasons.

Glad you had a nice time and are starting to feel better! I loved the 2 years we lived in the SD area (Escondido and Oceanside). Trader Joe’s rocks! As well as Coronado and La Jolla. Not to mention all the little taquerias! You made me homesice for it and I hardly lived there!
