A Fond Farwell

Dearest Readers,

We have enjoyed so much your support and love and comments!  A blog is nothing without readers; they are its heart and soul.  We have loved sharing our hearts and minds with you, and will cherish the memories of laughter and friendship developed “virtually” though Light Refreshments Served. But things change, and, to our sorrow, we find it necessary to suspend this blog, at least for the foreseeable future. We hope you will continue to connect with us on our individual blogs.

Love,

Chelsea, Kristy, Kacy, Lisa and Emily

Note from Kristy:

To the wonderful people who have supported LRS:  I’m sorry, we never meant to hurt you.  It’s not you, it’s us.  Can we still be friends?  K.I.T.  www.rabbitintheheadlights.blogspot.com

Note from Kacy:

This is just to say
I’m not going to be blogging here anymore
You made really awesome comments on my posts
which I will miss a lot
and you probably don’t like my other blog
but that’s all that’s left now
Forgive me
It was fun while it lasted
so refreshing
and so light

Note from Lisa:
We know you have a lot of choices in blogs, so thank you for reading ours.  Please consider joining us on our individual blogs–four times the awesome at no extra cost! Come see me at… http://www.almostfamouslisa.blogspot.com/

Note from Emily:

Friends, it has been a glorious experience participating on this blog and I have enjoyed it tremendously.  Thank you all for reading, sharing your own thoughts and being a part of our lives.  Please come see us individually when  you get a chance! Love always, from here to heaven, J Emily http://www.emilywatts.com/

I hardly ever commented because I could never remember what my user/pass was, but today I dug in the depths of my desk to find where I had written it because, well, you are worth the time it takes to say thank you for the nice time I’ve had here. Thank you, all of you, for your clever, humorous takes on life, but mostly for your wisdoms shared.

Wow! This was so unexpected. I love your blog, it’s always a highlight of my morning. Thank you for sharing your stories, recipes, views, freebies, laughs, and virtual friendship. You will be missed! I do have some fond memories like the free apron I won (thanks again!) and the yummy fruit tarts I learned to make. And I still have that yummy looking lime-raspberry poundcake recipe in my recipe box that I’m trying to work up the courage to make. And Kristy telling her daughter “sucks to be you” brings a smile everytime I think of it. I will definitely have to add your individual blogs to my list. Just know this blog will be missed! Thanks for everything!

  34. jntswally says:

I can’t express in words what LRS has given me since I discovered you last year. My feeble knees have been strengthened, my hands hanging down have been lifted, my soul has been nourished. In the darkest hours when I had to make decisions that only a handful of folks were privy to, I could listen and smile with my LRS friends and summon the courage to do impossible things.

Thanks for this most precious gift. You have my very best wishes.

p.s. Emily, Satan does not want you to succeed. You are doing an awesome job in your calling. Don’t let him make you doubt yourself just because you may be out of your element right now. Just remember that “the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous [woman] availeth much”.

  35. sage says:

aw. Bummer. I never had enough time to read this blog as much as I wanted to. It was excellent (but it didn’t show up on my handheld, so only made it here occasionally. I’ll still miss it. Great job, girls. Hope things go well for each of you.
